    Martin Dalgleish recently retired as a Lecturer in the Department of Management Studies at the St. Augustine Campus of the University of the West Indies in Trinidad where he taught final year undergraduate courses in Finance and Business Strategy and Policy and a graduate course in International Business.
    
    Until 1997, Martin Dalgleish was the President of Waterloo Associates Inc. which he founded in 1983 to provide managerial and advisory services primarily to the American operations of non-American companies. He has worked in the steel wire rope and fittings industry, the wood burning stove industry, the portable tools industry, the high end crystal industry, and the wine industry amongst others either as an advisor or as an executive.
    
    From 1972 until 1981 Mr. Dalgleish worked for the MAC Group (now part of Gemini Consulting), a partnership of business school professors and full time consultants both in the United States and in Europe (from 1974 until 1979) rising to Vice President. His major areas of interest during that time were helping large corporations change their strategic direction. In 1981 he joined one of his European clients as head of their U.S. activities for a two-year assignment to restructure their loss making activities in the U.S.
    
    Mr. Dalgleish's industry experience is broad, ranging from telecommunications, cement, steel and petrochemicals at the capital intensive end of the industry spectrum to a variety of industrial and consumer products, banking and big eight accounting at the opposite end.
    
    Mr. Dalgleish holds a master's degree (Economics and Law) from Cambridge University in England and a master's degree in business administration from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia. He was born in England and lived there until 1970. From 1967 until 1970, he worked for Deloitte & Co. in London and during this time became a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Since then he has lived in Italy, Belgium, the United States and is currently living in the Caribbean.
    
    Mr. Dalgleish (an enthusiastic tennis player and SCUBA diver) lives on Nevis. He and his wife after spent nearly a year travelling through the English speaking Caribbean. He served as Treasurer of the Boston Computer Society and Secretary of the Oxford and Cambridge Society of New England
